Networking with Young and Professional in the Twin Cities has never been so fun or so easy. The Minneapolis Urban League Young Professionals or MULYP is the most sought after professional organization in the Twin Cities. The MULYP is an auxiliary organization dedicated to bringing the next generation of leaders into the Urban League movement.

The MULYP is a newly established organization representing the future. We are not only the future of the Urban League movement, but our members represent the future of this country. Our members are The MULYP is dedicated to hosting programs/seminars and networking opportunities to educate youth in our community, economic development and financial literacy, civic engagement and leadership, healthcare and quality of life, and civil rights and racial justice.

The Minneapolis Urban League Young Professionals are a chapter of the National Urban League Young Professionals.

National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) is a network of young professionals across the country who provide leadership development, economic empowerment and community volunteer opportunities for other young professionals. The organization trains, develops, and educates young professionals to take leadership roles within the National Urban League, the civil rights movement, and society-at-large. Members of NULYP are defining, developing, implementing, and leading the next generation civil rights agenda.

Along with our afflilate, the Minneapolis Urban League, we support the goals and mission of the National Urban League by serving our communities and developing our members through mentoring, tutoring, scholarships, economic empowerment, political engagement, and leadership development programs.

The MULYP are community activists who support the mission of the Minneapolis Urban League and recruit, enlist, and engage African-American young professionals in our efforts towards the achievement of social and economic equality.

MULYP also works to strengthen our members by encouraging them to achieve balance in their lives even as they work to strengthen their communities. To this end, MULYP strives to develop programs that encourage individual members' personal and professional development.
